Used in a lot of bike fairings but the several car models, including the AMT (model car company) Piranha that was seen in some of the old "Get Smart" series, never seemed to get anywhere.
If they were produced, would the aluminum ones then be considered less desirable .

The body of the Cougar II was U.S. Royal's "Royalite" composite.....at least it is SUPPOSED to be that material. I was told that that they were unable to mould the Royalite as advertised and that the actual car is good old FRP! No psitive if that is true b ut it came from someone at Ford engineering some years ago. Royalite was promoted as dent resistant, dimensionally stable and cheap to produce, you know, like the bodies on a Staurn!!!!!
