Yes it would because you would not know how many times they are going to go for it. There should be a reasonable limit though. Spending an hour trying to get the last 2 laps is ridiculous. I would say let the control tower make the final call on how many but set a hard limit. I think if you give 5 attempts, and a caution comes out, just end it already. All we are doing is tearing up race cars. Just end it. I think 3 is enough actually, and I am sure that there will not be many that go beyond that, but set a hard limit, just because you don't want to implement it and then go back and change it for something like this.
