actually by stud mounting the rocker you can design for different ratios--with the fe shaft being centered for the FOUR mounting bolts/studs, the ratio is pretty well locked in to keep the pushrod centered in the manifold hole---with the stud mounted rocker, you can keep the valve tip/roller orintation and keep the pushrod centered but change the pivot point/stud location coming up with different ratios--

The guys at Crower's always are coming up with somethings truly innovative for the application instead of staying in step with the "we been doing it this way for 30 years(52 now for the FE's) They certainly are not the follow the leader crowd where the present day thinking is going off shore to see how cheap it can be made
