Just what Perry said ... I'd say paint it the color you like and if it's not exactly original, that's OK. Maybe there is a color close to an original that you like better, that's an option as well ... there are a lot of different shades of red, that's for sure!
It's a tough decision, but my guess is whatever you choose, it will look great!
