In '96 a fiberglass component car was something like $38,900. No 7000 series in '96. In '96, the price difference was $40,000. I've never heard of a $10,000 difference between 'glass and aluminum.
The price of a fiberglass 7000 trailed the fiberglass 4000 by about $5000. In 2000, the 4000 was around $42,900 and the 7000 was $38,900.
