There are also large amounts of liquified methane gas at the bottom of the oceans from all the rotting dead stuff that accumulates.

The increased CO2 will, along with the temp increase, benefit plant life at the expense of animals. Then it will swing back the other way. Of course we could get hit with one of those Pulsar bursts that will fry off the atmosphere...

Personally, I'm not gonna worry about something our insignificant amount of control can effect.
