synthetic oils, Lubro Moly is a 'hydrocrack'
oil, meaning it's a restructured mineral
oil with
synthetic materials added for extra protection and longer life. Lubro Moly claims full
synthetic does not mean better protection, but this is also somewhat subjective. American rating standards are also different than European rating standards.
