Default Correct fuel log for a 1x4 set-up

Were all of the correct fuel logs for a 1x4 set-up on an FE in anodized gold? I thought I recalled seeing some in silver too.

Also, I am considering moving to the original style hard fuel lines and canister style filter between the pump and log. I read a few posts suggesting that leaking was an issue. Was that for the canister or the flared fittings on the lines or both? How prone were these to leaking?

EDIT: I called Dearborn to ask about the fuel logs and canister and was told they only have the logs for a 2x4 set-up not 1x4. They didn't have the canister/filter set up either. They referred me to someone else that seemed to know what he was talking about and he said the 1x4 cars never had fuel logs or a canister set up. They just had a hard line connecting the two bowls and then going down to the pump. The fuel filter screwed to the bottom of the carter fuel pump.

What's the correct set-up and does anyone have a pic of it?
