Way back, I was stationed at Lowrey , now long gone, in Denver. There was a bar/lounge [also long gone] in downtown that we used to start out at and sometimes finish at. The bartender would eat a bowl of Green Chili every night. The cook made it special for him. I asked him about it and he said this is too hot for you. And, of course, I said that so far there had never been anything too hot for me! The cook brings out the chili and the btender says get another bowl. He scoops some out from the same pot he is getting his and I taste. I felt like the soles of my shoes were delaminating and that was the coolest part of my body. I ACTUALLY could not breathe, don't know why I didn't pass out. And the bartender, a yanqui, just sits there spooning down a LARGE bowl of the napalm.

Was in Denver 2 months ago, EVERYBODY serves 'green chili' there now. Not the same stuff!!
