Yeah, I've read the stories. Bernie is like bad, cheap cologne. You can smell it across the room before the person wearing it walks in your direction.
Agree on the Indy venue...it seemed to work. The only alternative would be a seaside street course like Miami, Long Beach or Seattle. San Francisco would be incredible with all the ups and downs, but it would also bottom-out and rattle those cars to death. I think the No Cal tree huggers (among other specialty interests) would also protest, accordingly. That's not a slam on anyone, just the honest truth.
