What??? I didn't know there was a choice! I just told Krause I wanted then grooved and he never asked about any options for the tires. He DID ask WHY I wanted them grooved, as if it were a bit of an odd request, I guess... Basically I wanted grooves just in case I need to drive the car on the street for a short distance. Like from a local race track to home, or from a race track to a hotel, just keeping my options open. I WILL run them on the street for a bit, just to get a feel for the bite before I do the track thing.
I'm currently doing my best to wear out the GT-II's, at least the rear ones.
I'll mount the slicks on a second set of wheels I have so I can go back and forth at will.
