Personally I hated it.

Did you notice they did not post the reaction times? For the most part they sucked. Very seldom did all four cars leave at the same time.

If I was a paying fan I would also be upset. Instead of watching 15 rounds of racing per class, I would only see 7 rounds.

To me it just seemed like a gimmick, or something NASCAR would do.
