Sal's (login CSX4241) old car CSX 4241 (funny how that works) has a very accurately detailed engine compartment. I seem to remember he said he had an original 1x4 fuel log and canister. He had a filter under the car before the fuel pump and had a hardline running through the canister. Basically it was just for show. You could look up some photos here on cc or on csxinfo. He posted a bunch of them.
