I also used the Dyna mat extream; on the tunnel I did both the inside and outside. I can hardly feel any heat transfer, foot boxes and the small panel under the carpet on the door and the floors and the large panel behind the seats. When I close the doors they go THUNK. No rattles and it just makes it seem so solid.
