$24 cap and it leaks. The box says made in USA by www.amkproducts.com part number ARC-62C with the reference of 1961-66 chrome radiator cap 1962-66 Fairlane, 1962-66 Ford C2SZ-8100-A

I've had problems with the quality of AMK parts over the years. Starter solenoids have been particularly dodgy. I'd buy a cheapo parts store cap to test and see if it's the cap or the coolant tank. If it's the cap, send it back for a replacement. JMHO.
