Just on the column, does anyone know if the bottom off the column needs to be mounted seperately to the top column mounts? It would appear that the bottom mount needs to fail first to allow it to collapse. If they are connected all on the same subframe i imagine there is a risk the column wont collapse and the whole subframe will move towards the driver.

Any thoughts?
