I bought a Vt or Vx column orignally but it was an Airbag column that doesnt allow aftermarket steering wheels. I am planning on using a billet specialties steering wheel so i bought the boss kit for that to suit late model GM. I then took the boss to pick and payless and found it fits VK/VL. So i ended up with an 85 VK column. The shroud is metal so i can paint it up nice and it wont look like it doesnt fit. I dont like the way a lot of column shrouds look on cobra's.
