FYI,

The hood scoop above is for Webers that is much widewr than the EM scoop.

I dont have any problems with the dist with mine on the FE 427.

My hood covers the dist.

You may want to recheck your measurements regards what scoop you go with.

I actually trimmed more off the hood to make room for the webers on my motor.

I have a EM car too.
