Actually, BP is a perfect example. They are quite well known for hitting back against frivolous lawsuits with abuse of process/malicious prosecution claims. Quite successfully, too, I might add....
Though I know you were just cracking a joke -- but around my neck of the woods, folks sue people just for the sport of it.
It gets to the point where a suit alone means virtually nothing anymore.
