I used a product called Resomat available from Tru-fit Auto Carpets in Dandenong.
It comes in 3mm or 5mm thickness, 500 x 500mm self adhesive squares @ $12.00 each. Quite heavy, bituminous, aluminium sided for heat and sound deadening.
Really easy to apply, sticks fine after you use a good thinner type cleaner first.
Can't vouch for it yet as car's yet to run.
I have also HP coated extractors.
