I just happened to be bolting together my 3550:
16mm (5/8") dia tubing with 2cm of fine threads on 1/2" end. 25 deg twist, total lengthof 27.5cm with center of 45 deg bend about 6.4 cm from bot. Hole centers from bot: 11mm and 33mm. It looks like a lot of work.
