We pay 38 cents a gallon for both state AND federal excise tax,local sales tax is figured in the price at the pump.....
BTW: Today in town, I paid $2.62 for 87 octane......been bewteen that and $2.70 for some time now.......
You'll need to start drilling of the coast for your own
oil, but with the fiasco in the gulf here, that may not happen anytime soon!!!!!!!!!

Gas costs so much any more that I don't even look at the pump when I have to fill up. I just hand them my monthly check and if there is any left they give it back to me.
