Paul McPherson, the former manager of the RTA's Botany office and driving instructor Komate Jaturawong were charged after an investigation by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC).
The District Court heard McPherson gave people the answers to their L-plate licence test and also tipped-off drivers who were sitting for P-plate and heavy vehicle licences.
He has been jailed for up to three years, after pleading guilty to receiving rewards for corruption and misconduct in a public office.
