I'm sick of worrying about this issue and decided last Friday that this is exactly what I am going to do.
I was hoping to have the car registered before 1st July, this year as I go into hospital then to have the first of two knees replaced. Providing everything goes alright, there's no driving for 6 weeks and a re-coup period of about 3 months. Then I will have my other knee done. On my calculations, I won't be getting the car registered now until 2011. By that time, there should be some new ADR's which I will have to comply with, but who cares. I'll just do incorparate them into the list of things to do. I've been waiting 45 years for this car. What's another 6 months.
