C29,

In general, when the EB "needs adjustment", it's not a cable problem unless it never worked to begin with. The system is self-adjusting, but it's not unusual for rebuilders to forget that the mechanism may need maintenance after 30 or so years. I have a breakdown of the system somewhere... Noon update:

The page above might be enough. The adjustment can be done with everything in the car, although it ain't easy. I'll get to the rebuilding part of the process ASAP...
