All the posts are right.

Simple, the LED's do not draw enough "Juice' For a normal "flasher" to work.

"Watson STREET WORKS", (INTERNET SITE) sells a small set of Resistors that are put in line for the front and rear lights. Simple fix and easy to do. (Split both "feeds" front and rear, install a resistor in each line-done)

Now there are new LEDs on the market that have the resistors built in but don't seem to be as bright, but are better than stock 1157's.

Bottom line, smart exchange, new vs. old and for anyone building a Cobra / Streetrod now.
