Actually, no. The MK II "FIA" car shares almost
nothing with the Superformance MK III. The chassis and suspension are as AC built them way back when. The only real changes are the brakes to vented Wilwoods and the body out of FRP.
The chassis is round 3" tube and the suspension is transverse leaf. See
www.riversideracers.com for more details. The MK II was originally going to be sold out of the Superformance network but the availability of Shelby licensing made sense to distribute via Superformance.
