Here's a bit of a different view, guys!

Although I have been following the component car industry (and particularly the Cobras) since the early 1970's, I always had something keeping me from getting one. College, kids, a house, a divorce, you name it, it was always something. When I retired in December, 2007, I decided it was time. I found one on this website that I could afford, contacted the owner and found out that it was not sold yet, and traveled the 800 miles (round trip) to see the car. I liked it but wasn't ready to buy that day (the financing wasn't arranged yet), so I left without making an offer. I'm sure he thought I was a tire kicker.

30 days later I recontacted the seller and made an offer. We completed the deal within 2 weeks.

I mention this b/c you can never tell who is a tire-kicker and who isn't......any day now that guy who seemed to be just kicking tires could become the next owner of your car.

Cheers from Dugly
