Good analysis on the Ford 427W vs Brents motor. My experience has been all those "extra's" (intake, starter, etc. etc.) not only quickly add to the bottom line but are a PITA as well. It's a good call getting a really ready to run engine to drop in, rather than chasing nuts, bolts, washers and an endless variety of "little things" to complete the project.
