I agree the TKO is the best choice. I considered a T56, but for a lot of reasons, it doesn't fit me well. I'v loked at the T56 Magnums. I might consider one of those, but they are so darned expensive.

I have an older TKO, the predecessor to the 500 and 600. IMO, the older TKO has the perfect gearing. First gear is quite low at 3.29. And then they're spread pretty evenly to 4th. 5th is .64; which is perfect for my street and highway cruising.

The "problem" with the new TKO's is the gearing. The 500 has the lower first gear and wider spread that I like. But the 600 has the torque capacity that I need. If mine ever breaks, I don't know what I'll do.

Mike, your web site used to have all the specs for the Tremecs: gearing, dimension, torque capacity, etc. That was very usefull information that I referred to often. What happened to all that?
