I know this is the place to get the information I need

I am taking my SPF 1698 cobra in for a wheel aligment and due to lowering the car the guy at the shop said I will probably need a bump steer kit and he asked me "what car did your front end come out of " , I told him it is a factory built car and the front end components are not out of a mustang or whatever , they are custom built

Am I wrong , are the front end parts such as the steering linkage , front knuclkes , tie rod ends custom made or are they from a reconized maunfacturer such as BMW , etc.
