Default Superformance/Shelby visits Detroit for the Woodward Dream Cruise!

Woodward Dream Cruise Invitation

Dear Shelby and Superformance Owner,

It Is Shelby and Superformance Owners Party Time

One of the greatest car events in all the world is taking place just
days away in Detroit, Michigan, birthplace of the automotive industry.
The event is the Woodward Dream Cruise where tens of thousands of
collector and specialty cars from all over the USA converge for a week
of driving, sharing, showing and partying.

As the premier builder of Cobra replicas in the world, Superformance
along with the Superformance Owners Association http://superformance.org
is supporting this cause and we want to do it with a strong presence.
Superformance is making a charitable donation to support the Woodward
Dream Cruise... but just as important, Todd Andrews and his team along
with many other Shelby and Superformance owners are showing up to demonstrate our
support and excitement about the automobile hobby. We will be located in
a prime place to see all the nonstop action from 6:00 PM, Friday,
August 20 and Saturday, August 21. We will be in the Comerica Bank
Parking Lot with our truck, cars and a very visible display. Comerica
Bank is located at 36440 Woodward Avenue- just south of the Mercedes
Benz dealership, on East side of Woodward between Maple Road and Quarton
Road.

Friday : As a show of appreciation for our valued customers, we will
provide parking for all Shelby and Superformance owners who bring their Cobra’s, Mark III,
Coupe or GT 40 right in the heart of the festivities on Friday night as
space allows. Space is limited so it is first come / first serve on
Friday. A place to park at the Woodward Dream Cruise is as valued as a
glass of water in the desert or a warm coat in the Himalayan Mountains.
And there will be few parking spots anywhere as good as these. We are
talking about a PREMIUM location.

Saturday: In conjunction with Bloomfield Township, we have made a
charitable donation to their 3 selected charities .However parking is
not free on Saturday , as it is Charity Day, for you and us : For
Shelby and Superformance owners who have not already signed up, there is a $35
donation which goes to the 3 local Bloomfield Township charities:
Bloomfield Township Police Department Benevolent Fund, Bloomfield
Township Fire Department Charities and Bloomfield Hills Optimist Club.

Most importantly, if you are parked elsewhere for the Cruise on
Saturday, we encourage you to come visit us at our display and stay for
a short while before you resume your cruising. It will not matter if you
are in your Superformance, daily driver, taxi, bus or on foot, we want
you to join us. It is always good to get together with family, and you
being a part of the Shelby and Superformance Family and this exciting event will
make our trip all the more worthwhile. Even if we don't show one single
car, nothing would make our participation in this event more worthwhile
than having you as a part of it. Let's get together for some fun and
enjoy this world class event as a team of automotive enthusiasts. We
don't have an opportunity to interact with our customers nearly often
enough. Let's make this a special time for all of us. Remember, Friday
night is free and should be more relaxed. But come on by Friday or
Saturday or both. We want to see you.

There are already more than 25 people signed up for Saturday, and
parking space is limited. If interested and you want details, please
contact Bill Wells for information ,between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm, EDT :
billwells@comcast.net <mailto:billwells@comcast.net>, or 248-332-9788.

We look forward to seeing you there!!!
