[HPCOBRA]

I see a lot of chatter about rear shocks and spring changes, I have the springs supplied by CR for my BB setup. The shocks are a Monroe 5876. I can not find the number for spec. I believe CR recommended a VW shock! I want to replace only the shock with a good gas shock. I have QA1 500# coil overs in the front. I am limited on my budget so at this point I only want to get rid of the sluggish Monroes and get a good gas shock. Any suggestions with part numbers would be appreciated..Thanks
