I would appreciate your creative minds.

We race 360 winged sprint cars and Alley not only loved them and helped work on ours, she also wanted to race them after college. The last few years, I've wanted to build a street legal,... two seat sprint car, and replicate it as much to the racing sprints. I have everything worked out on the engineering.

I want to start a non-profit organisation, similar to MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers) in Alleys name and the cause. Too many people are dieing with this texting.

I don't think I have enough time to dedicate to all it takes, so I'll be talking with Alley's friends that are in their first year of college, and ask if I start the cause, if they will take control. I'm sure they will because they have already made T-Shirts and bumper stickers to help my sisters cost for the funeral.

What I need is a catchy name like MADD.

I thought with people seeing a SPRINT CAR,...on the street, that we could have something like,... "Racers Against Texting While Driving"
But, RATWD, clearly does not mean anything ! lol

We will need donation's,..... to build the sprint car. Somewhere around $20,000.

I'm in contact with MADD about the requirements on getting a license, permit ect....

Do you think this is a good idea and will help on getting the word out, with a street sprint car ?

I thought we could set up booths at car shows, and hand out fact based information about texting & driving. With the approval of the University of Nebraska, and community college's, we could reach out to the young people.

I need your thoughts & ideas for the heading.

Should I also start a new thread about the cause & donations, since this thread is just information about Alley's accident ?
I can attach this link to the new thread.
