Sound like something that the RTA could not possibly resource.
Imagine having to book your pink slip 6 months in advance! Or each year you will book for the following year why you are there. A bit like when you find a good camp ground!

This would not be too hard to implement...about 18 years ago the RTA transferred all blue slip and modification inspections to qualified pink slip inspection stations. The RTA inspectors were reassigned to desk jobs.( they were really pissed) I have build a few cars and during inspections have overheard conversations with the pink slip inspectors and the RTA 'advisors'. The replies were very aggressive (and amusing) All the RTA has to do is give the inspectors their proper jobs back. Back then the waiting list was about 3 weeks; when Hot rods were the main item and ICV's were as rare as chooks teeth. I reckon the inspectors might be busy for the start but they would be back into their element in about a year or two.................I hope this doesn't happen. It will make just more stress for all of us.
