Default Screw threads size in timing cover holding 1965 427 FE timing pointer
My engine came without the timing pointer. I bought a new pointer from Dearborn Classics but cannot make out the internal threads of my timing chain cover. Hard to see under there if stripped or if I just need the right screws.

I think they may be 10-24 or they may be self tapping.
