Your car is just too old. The later rebuilt rears have a tie-down built into a bridge between the shock pivot and the lower hub pivot.

But I digress...

What you have should work fine, but would be better if you could cleanly thread the webbing on the arm outside the shock mount. Might not be possible with your setup though.
