Thanks for the info, that may be the rout I take to get the outer hub boss diameter. Yes, this is almost a nit, but not quite ...

Don't have to be hub centric, but the option is free with Schott wheels and there are some benefits. Agree, lug nuts will center your wheel but it won't be a perfect centering, there is always a slight error driven by manufacturing tolerances. Hub centric gets you closer to that absolute center point. Makes brake work easier too (maintenance/inspection), wheels are easier to handle going on & off.
