I'd humbly suggest that 285KW is more than enough...
If you are happy with it in a clubbie, then image your clubbie on a diet.
Probably be enough power to spin the wheels in 3rd.
The experts can correct me if I'm wrong, I've only seen what's been posted on this forum, but if you look at the results from Nationals gone past - Big KWs doesn't equate to a faster car. Plenty of BIG hp cars running the same times as those with less.
If you want bragging rights however, that's another story.
