I figured it out, do what GM and Ford do, their cars go 200k miles, look at corvettes, they get the living sheet pounded out of them. They use good ole acdelco filters. By the way the specs on a new LS7 engine is 27 psig of
oil pressure at 4k rpms. They have the same main and rod bearing clearances we have at .002". The rule of 10 psig per 1000rpm is questionable, in fact, the new rule LOLOLOLOL is 10 psig per 100 hp with miniumium of 35 psig regardless of top rpm. So 500 hp engine = 50 psig.
I think Bob in Ct has it nailed down 5W30, go with RP filter and you are done, complete finished.
