One thing I would suggest is that you know the SB100 process inside and out before you go to the DMV. my first 2 trips were basically a waste of time, I thought I was getting somewhere and on my 3rd trip they had corrected the Title ,finished the registation and were ready to send me out the door when I asked "what about the SPCNS sequence number to exempt me from smog?" The fellow helping me said You don't need to have this smogged. I said; as much as I would like to believe that I think we had better check. Thats when I finally got to talk to the right person, she grabbed all the paperwork and had me go to the "special" room. I had to remind them that I was there under the amnesty program and things went pretty smooth from then on.
