GForce somewhat copied RMC including column recommendation which is from an early sigma I believe.

Also probably very likely the same front set up and my springs do not loosen when jacked free, nor should they in my book.

Just noted other posts and colt comes to mind too. I did add a simple shim (one wrap of steel roofing sheet) around my column and you can then mount a hyundai lock with all the indicator gear and intermittent wiper straight onto the column. I'd have to look through my notes to get you a year but I think about mid 90's Hyundai gear. Just need to find the version that mates up to the steering lock location.

I also found an all alloy SAAS boss to fit these columns that can be shortened to further reduce how far the steering wheel sticks out and which helps improve access into the cabin and driving position comfort by pushing the wheel away from you some more. All part of the research phase.
