I'd say with the steel half shafts, you would be pretty safe. I also come off the line at idle, but stock aluminum shafts can't stand it when you have 800 horses on tap. The U-joints don't break, I just rip the yoke off the shaft. Even at idle a 1.38 60' time is pretty violent. I also run an automatic. Hopefully with the chromolly shafts I'm having built, they will last.
