I learned a few weeks ago that Sgt. June had passed away in early September at a Veterans Hospital in Prescott Arizona. The passing was quietly noted in the press with small articles and obituaries tucked away on page 10 of section C, and on the 10:00 news. As he lived in Longmont, CO (about 12 miles from where I live, and coincidentally, near the Shelby American Collection museum) his passing got a little more recognition here.
