Update.....
The suspension is a C4 unit that has been narrowed by almost 5 inches.
The narrowed rear end allowed the deep dish wheels to fit under it.
I was very fortunate that Vette Brakes is local to me. I can only say that Gary and his team have been amazing! For those of you that have had the opportunity to work with them by phone, I can just add to impressive shop they run.
I have them currently building me an entire custom system with all adjustable trailing arms, camber smart struts and toe rods. They charged me no additional cost for the custom lengths and even powder coat everything in house!
As far as the spring. They tested mine and found that it has a rate of 680 lbs!
The factory Corvette uses one that is about 300 lbs, even their race only spring is 420 lbs. I think I know now why the car rides so rough. Needless to say, they will be making me one that is more appropriate to my car.
Does anyone know their spring rate and what I should use for mine?
I do like to Autocross but also plan to 1/4 mile it.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Mike
