Drove a 911 Porche today, gorgeous car. I was very very impressed, here was a beautiful car, you drive in the rain, the sun, etc. It carried the same price as a new SPF $61K. I got in and fired it up and it sounded great, the leather seats were not to cushy but not to hard, had a strong racing theme about it. I took off, as fast as I fell in love I fell out. It was plenty fast but after about 15 miles it was just drive, it was civilized, I was numb to the experience. Jumped back in the Cobra, stinking like gasoline, no ac, no windows, just rudeness and took off wonder when I and where I will breakdown
, I obviously have a marble loose because I always find myself looking forward to a cobra ride but I am pretty sure the porshe would just become transpertation.
I have no idea if the 911 is reliable or what maintenance cost but I guess until I grow older the Cobra still has me wrapped around its sidepipes.
