Sambo, I used the VDO tacho on mine and had to put a 1k ohm resistor across a couple of the terminals on the back of the tacho to boost the 5v signal from the ECU to approx 9v from memory and that did the job. The resistor went from the power in 12v to the signal in from ECU. Hope that helps.... Cheers
