I have had this problem since I built my Cobra and really never addressed it. I have isolated it to the pressure regulator; during many mods I have gone from electric fuel pump to mechanical, switched regulators and still the noise is there. It is a noise that sounds like a spring, the spring in the regulator obviously, that keeps on making the "boing" noise, sometimes sometimes not. It is very loud, loud enough to hear over the side pipes at idle sometimes.

Why does it make this noise?
