This, http://www.vintagekarts.com/Rockets/Rockets.htm is the company that made the turbine engines back in the 60s. They made them for go karts, dragsters and rear end back plates with a second pusher pinion gear on your rear end. These engines added 850hp directly to the rear axel. The company name was turboniques.

I used to tell my son about when I was a kid, and you would see this little go kart out in front of a top fuel dragster until the kart hit about 150mph and had to back off because it was lifting off the ground. I am really glad that I found the site, so that he can see the same picture I saw almost 40 years ago.
