Ed, I just might have traded a gravel driveway for the hassle I went through every time I wanted to drive the GT. Load big metal ramps from the lift onto a dolley, drag it out to the end of the drive way, align them, put boards between the driveway and the top of the ramps because the ramps don't contour to the curb, then back the car up and into the lawn so I could turn around (jockey it several times) to see if I was driving onto the ramps, then hope for the best as I lost sight of the ramps. Same thing when I return, and now I have to pack the damned ramps up (those suckers are heavy!).
Now, that's all behind me, so yes, I agree, it could be worse with a sand/gravel/dirt driveway.
